Moon Dragoon
2D sidescrolling shooter in Moon-like gravity made in two weeks for the GitHub Game Off 2020 game jam with the theme MOONSHOT.
Developed by Johannes Danneker (fry) and Rémi Verschelde (akien) with Godot Engine.
You're part of a scientific mission to the Moon, and you were deployed as single astronaut in the Moon Dragoon buggy, first person to set foot (well wheel) on the planet since 1972.
Upon landing, you glance at the Earth and notice its depth-lacking, disc-like structure.
As the revelation of the Earth's flatness dawns on you, you are greeted by drones advertising themselves as dispatched by the Planar Earth Selenian Territories.
They don't seem willing to let you go back to the spaceship with your discovery.
Accelerate, decelerate and jump with WASD or arrow keys, and aim and shoot the enemies using the mouse, while dodging the enemy bullets! Your shield has 3 energy levels which recharge over time.
